Cabbage Again???

Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Well, I guess babycenter.com ran our of fruits and vegi's because we graduated from Chinese Cabbage to just cabbage... Anyway, this weekend will be the end of a busy week! Tomorrow we have carpet installed and on Sunday I have my first (non-surprise) shower. The crib was ordered and should be on it's way shortly (thanks mother-in-law!) and the glider is waiting to be set up in the nursery after the carpet is installed (thanks mom and dad!). The room will be coming together and we can't wait to get everything in its place and ready for her arrival. It's hard to believe (assuming I go to 40 weeks) that she will be here in 10 weeks!
