Christmas in ... March?

I made felt Christmas stockings for me, my husband and our dog several years ago, so I decided Kaylin would need one too. I figured I needed to have it finished before she arrived since I doubt I will have hours on end to sew it after she's here! Well, it arrived today, how exciting!
